Kristian Reiss

Business coaching provides Kristian with the opportunity to combine two of the things he enjoys most in life – business and helping people. He gains satisfaction from his role as coach, working with motivated people to help them with their success.

He believes that the key to success is to try and take some enjoyment from everything you do in life. Basically - have some fun! Many people are focused only on the end result, and not in the present. While it is important to strive towards a vision, you also have to take time out to enjoy the journey. In this respect, Kristian is inspired by his 6 year-old daughter Marisa - an aspiring gymnast. She enjoys her gymnastics so much she never stops!

Kristian holds formal qualifications, including a degree in Marketing and a Certificate in Small Business and he considers himself an ongoing “student of learning." Learning keeps the mind open to new ideas and experiences, which resonates with Kristian’s approach of challenging the conventional wisdom, and exploring the possibilities of doing things differently.

Kristian joined the Small Fish team in February 2010. Prior to this, he established Incrementum Business Coaching in Perth, Western Australia. His work there led to winning the Edith Cowan University North West Metro Small Business Awards in 2009. Kristian’s background is in Sales and Marketing, and he has had the opportunity to live and work in Australia, the UK and Europe.

Kristian has numerous interests including (in no specific order) food, wine, politics, and cinema - as well as spending quality time with his family and friends. He lives and works in Perth, Western Australia, but he likes to travel - so don’t be surprised to find him anywhere (maybe even at the Oktoberfest in Bavaria some time soon!).

Kristian believes in the power of making decisions and getting things done - and for that there’s no time like the present!
